saldIT splits group expenses without sign-up. This policy explains what we store and why. Controller: Globunet · soporte@saldit.com.

What we store

• An anonymous identity for your device (no email, phone or password), plus the name and emoji you choose for your profile.
• Your groups: the names of the people you add, expenses, payments and how they are split. Every member of a group sees that group.
• Receipts: the text read on your phone and the lines of the expense. The photo stays on your phone unless you turn on «Save photo»; then it is kept with the group and its members can see it.
• Notifications: your device's push token, if you allow notifications.
• Usage statistics without personal data, to improve the app.
• Reading examples, only if you turn on «Help improve receipt reading»: the receipt text and its corrected lines, without names, photo or group.

Who processes it

Our servers in the EU. When you ask to «Read on the server», only the receipt text (never the photo) goes to our own model and, if needed, to OpenAI. Push notifications go through Google Firebase and Apple. Statistics: PostHog (EU).

How long

While the group exists. Receipt text is deleted once the receipt is read; unsaved photos are not uploaded.

Your rights and deleting your data

In the app, Profile → «Delete my data» erases your identity, devices and profile and takes you out of all your groups (your name stays in the group's accounts so they still add up). For access, rectification, objection or anything else, write to soporte@saldit.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
